Vice-Chancellor Message
A Senior Professor with an academic experience of 30 years,
Prof. (Dr.) Moinuddin Khan contributing his duties as Vice Chancellor of YBN University
(YBNU), Ranchi since last two years. Prof. (Dr.) Moinuddin Khan has a very vast and
impressive academic as well as administrative experience. Before joining as the Vice-Chancellor
of YBNU, Ranchi, Prof Khan was the VC of Singhania University, Rajasthan. He has received
many fellowships for his praiseworthy contribution to the field of Life Sciences. Prof. Khan is
also having good administrative experience. In addition to these, he is having membership in
more than a dozen professional national and international bodies. Prof. Khan obtained his Ph.D.
from the AMU, Aligarh (India) was an active member of the technical board of the International
Conference on Innovative Science and Engineering Technology (ICISET-2011) and was the
faculty representative of AMU Research Scholar Club in 1991-92.
From the inception, YBNU provides an excellent academic environment linked up with
societal values, and synchronized by affection and self-respect. It maintains harmony, discipline
and strictly follows the academic calendar. We are blessed with knowledgeable, dedicated and
distinguished academics as well as scientific and student friendly administrative staffs. In
addition to providing quality education, another prime objective of this specialized university is
to expand of some yet unexplored nontraditional scientific disciplines into the Jharkhand state
educational curriculum. YBNU aims to ultimately take its place as an international network
university in the global competition among universities.
