About Faculty of Education
The School of Education was established in 2019 as the department in education. It provides singular service to the cause of education and contributes to nation building through teacher training programs. Teacher preparation programs, leading to the B.Ed. & D. El. Ed Course, are learner centric, where students discuss ideas and concepts for education, and apply these abstract ideas in practice for better understanding.
Students learn through group discussions, seminars, dissertation and library work. There is no substitute for live classroom interaction for these young teachers. B.Ed. students are associated with experienced teachers to provide guidance to D. El. Ed. students during practice of teaching as well as classroom lectures.
A program to improve English communication is an essential part of the curriculum to enhance the teaching efficiency of the students. An interdisciplinary approach, participation in curricular and co-curricular activities, professionally designed value added courses help young students & teachers to develop critical problem solving abilities and a scientific attitude. Qualified, competent and experienced faculty members, who excel as academic advisers, facilitators and mentors, support the institute. The teaching staff is encouraged to present research papers on education and social issues in reputed journals and participate in seminars and conferences. Lectures on ethics, personality development and moral code by eminent educationists are organized throughout the year.

Teaching Fraternity plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the nation. The stalwart
educators of yester years have been an apostle of knowledge and self discipline. Their
commitment to excellence set outstanding standards of education, which is reflected through the
series of knowledge embedded with values. The arrival of smart technology and access of young
minds to internet not only squeezed the world but also opened new vistas for teaching learning
process. The students have become more inquisitive and learning oriented. They need to be
encouraged to carry out independent learning while chasing the ideas conceived in their young
minds. The new scenario demands that teachers should also update their knowledge and follow
latest techniques in teaching methodology to equip students with new skills so as to judge the
reliability of information received from new resources.
The teacher’s role has changed from educators to facilitators. They have to adjust their lesson plan strategy to take account of interactive nature of new technology. The focus of teaching learning process is to provide insight outside the classroom environment.
We have resolved to prepare competent teachers armored with latest teaching skills to handle the students of modern age and impart quality education. The new teachers will not only be repository of knowledge but also source of inspiration to develop mentally sound and emotionally balanced students with positive attitude , who will be strong enough to accept failures boldly and turn them to first rung of success.
